Slava

We attended Sue’s family “Slava” (Saint’s Day).   I’ve previously posted about the importance of this in Serbian families.  Normally, Sue would take the Slava of her husband, but since he didn’t have one to offer, she has retained her own family’s Slava, which her brother arranges.

As always, hospitality abounded and there was far too much to eat and drink!

The family’s patron saint is Archangel Michael.
