Several of the local cafes have got into the swing of things, and extended their outdoor dining areas. 
I know that the Council is supposed to facilitate this, and perhaps this has in fact occurred.
In the meantime, the Council appears to have taken to exhorting us to walk the streets. It’s not really clear to me why we need to be told to “explore Stonnington”; after all, we’ve been doing it for weeks on our walks around the area. But now stickers have appeared at apparently random locations on the local footpaths, and there’s a link to a website.
And the Christmas signage has appeared. Is this earlier than usual?
