In the past, voting early for an election was considered to be for those who would have difficulty turning up on the day of the election. But it seems things have now moved to the other end of the spectrum. This electronic sign at Parliament station encourages early voting!
Musings and Mutterings 
I enjoy the ‘cut and thrust’ of actually voting on the day, and postal votes must be counted after these votes and so it makes the result a wee bit delayed.
