We’re off on a cruise around New Zealand in the not-too-distant future. It’s similar to the cruise we did some years ago, except this time it circumnavigates New Zealand in the other direction. More of this to come in future posts…..!
However, I’m mildly irritated by the regular emails that keep arriving promoting the “features” of the cruise. 
Some of these are just salesmanship, such as encouraging the pre-booking of the ship’s (expensive) excursions, but others are just promotional. As to the latter, what’s the point?
And to make matters worse, shortly after completing the first draft of this post, a text message came through on my phone. Is there no escape?
