The Church Slava

Just as Serbian families have Saints’ days, so do the Churches.   One of the churches in the Melbourne area has Saint Stefan of Dečani as its saint, and we attended the Church Slava.   The Bishop was there, along with one of his colleagues, plus other clergy and a large number of the faithful.   One of the highlights was the placement in the Church of recently located relics of St Stefan.   The Church service was followed by the traditional feast!
