Lunch at Parliament House

I was invited to a charity lunch at Parliament House.    It was definitely a coat-&-tie affair.   There’s security check on the way in, and then, having signed in, we were directed to the dining room.   Our group was the only group dining, but obviously Parliament wasn’t sitting.    The food was good, too, not exactly novelle cuisine, but certainly very acceptable.  And the Heathcote red was good, too.    Seems our parliamentarians are well looked after!
