I’ve been a bit lethargic, particularly about blogging, since returning from my recent trip.  Jetlag and the need to catch up with things contributed.   However, I’ve been stirred out of my lethargy by the recent British Brexit referendum and the forthcoming Australian Federal election, and an occasional blog post seems to be in order.

So far as the Australian election is concerned, we’d had in mind for a little while that we might have a couple of days away.    Looking at the available dates at RACV Cape Schanck, it appeared that we could get a booking that coincided with the election date – so we went for it!  Hence we could honestly answer when we went to the pre-poll that, yes, we would be away on 2 July!

IMG_5974As a result, we’ve voted and now all that remains is to pack up and head off later in the week for a couple of nights.
