I’ve blogged before (and here) about the lack of information for commuters at Flinders Street station. Step-by-step, things seem to be improving. I’ve previously noted that the displays around the station have improved somewhat, so that you can now see which platform to head to for your train, rather than be told what is happening at each platform.
It seems to be appearing at the bottom of the main displays on the platforms. Much better than before! Of course, it doesn’t tell you which direction the next Loop train is running (that is, will it get to Melbourne Central via Parliament or Flagstaff), but in the scheme of things, this is perhaps not a big issue and might result in undue complexity.
