I admit I’m a traditionalist when it comes to the sending of Christmas cards. Yes, the internet also has a role in spreading Christmas greetings, but to my mind it’s not a complete replacement for cards.
The timing of the sending of cards is a little more subtle. We received our first this year on 1 December. In fact, we received three on that day (and two more the next day)! Impressive organ-isation, on the part of those concerned, especially in the case of those from interstate posted a few days back…but I do wonder just a bit whether this might be a little early.
Or perhaps it doesn’t matter?
